Grand Theft Rondo beats Linsanity as Celtics win 4th in a row

The Celtics overcame a lackluster 1st half effort to beat the Knicks and remain undefeated since the All Star break. Rondo had his second triple double of the week with 18 points, 17 rebounds and 20 assists. Yes, you read that right. It's a Rondoful world and if you don't like it too bad.

Of course the Celtics would've lost the game without Paul Pierce's game tying 3. Pierce was a beast with 34 points and continues to play like the absolute stud he is.  Bass was solid as always with 18 points. Garnett struggled from the floor but was solid with 18 points and 10 boards. Ray contributed 12 points despite playing sick.

For the Knicks, Jeremy Lin had a subpar game. I'm not sure why Celtics fans were booing him. This guy seems like an awesome human being and he gets the most out of his abilities. You have to root for this guy. Carmelo Anthony had 25 points including some big shots at the end of the game. Steve Novak continued his torrid shooting with 14 points and 4 threes. Amare Stoudemire looked like a shell of his old self but still had a double double with 16 points and 13 boards.

Overall a great win for the Celtics. They looked terrible in the first half but were able to overcome it with great play from their two superstars, Rondo and Pierce. With a 8 game road trip looming the Celtics needed this game. I really like the direction the team is going. Next game Tuesday at home against the Rockets.
