Today's Video: "I Need a Doctor" - A Tribute to Doc Rivers

I started making this video last year but didn't get a chance to finish it up until now (and it's not perfect, but oh well). Most Celtics fans agree that Doc Rivers is a very special coach, and one of the best in the NBA. Aside from the obvious accolades -- his NBA Coach of the Year award as well as coaching the Eastern Conference All-Stars on 2 occasions -- we have seen time and time again that Doc Rivers is a master at drawing up game-winning plays and finding the right things to say when his team is down to motivate them and get them back in the game.

Doc is a player's coach. A coach that his team respects and trusts, preaching the values of the team over the individual. That being said, he isn't afraid to dish out some tough love and call his players soft when he deems appropriate. But Doc always seems to find the right balance of toughness and caring to motivate his players.

I wouldn't want anyone else coaching my Celtics. So here's to Doc! Enjoy the video -- it's a mix of coaching clips, highlights from Doc's days as an NBA player, some humorous moments, and of course I had to add Austin's tribute to his father at last year's McDonalds All-American Slam Dunk contest.
