Danny Ainge: are you sure we cant sign you on a penny raise?
We're stupid to ignore Delonte. He's a great player and wont cost that much. Dooling isn't enough as a backup on a championship contending team. DWest will come cheap, why not get him, he was great last year.
its not that he doesnt want to come back hes hinted a likely return to Boston, the only problem is he doesn't want a one year deal, hes looking for more than a year which is something so far Danny hasn't committed to yet. I hop ewe can sign him back but at the same time JJ Barrea still a free agent, and no team has bother to look him up either...

i hope he comes back, or i hope avery ends up playing a lot more. not sold on dooling and it would be nice to have a reliable PG like west that can give rondo some rest.

@Anonymous i think they will go after Iverson, but since he is such a small piece, they are trying to get big ones like acquiring David West first
Delonte West needs to come back though, his presence would guarantee a deep playoff run
You know, a lot of the fans in this board that don't like DA clearly don't know anything about basketball, and the magic Danny has done with preatty much nothing! Thank God none of you are running this team, or we could even have your grand ma playing for us
We're ignoring Delonte West to our peril. Whoever else gets him is pretty much guaranteed a decent playoff run too. I'd spend the mid level on Delonte in an instant...

cause hes allrn iverson a has been hes not the same even with the other west the better and taller west i have some thoughts in my mind he might not be good enough he tore his acl he won't be 100% this year and probaly not next year it taes a while to get bac to what you were but 18 AND 9 BEFORE HE TORE it is good enough and there will definitely be a drop in his game but at what price ive got news that the cletics are also looking to get dwight and keep rondo and paul in the process which tells me kg and ray are also very likely to be shopped
Ainge need to sign Delonte West,C.Billups, & D`Andre Jordan to Boston.
Ainge should put a 3 team trade together J.Teague-Boston,Rondo,D.Wright, & A.Bradley-ATL,M.Williams,K.Hinrich,E.Moore, & 1st round pick.
Give Delonte West a 3 year deal at the mid-level. NOW
