One Berklee student and one Berklee grad decided to set out to create the official Boston song -- with a little help from "Sweet Caroline."
The singer is Vincent Sneed, who wrote and produced the song with Eytan Nicholson.
Boston sports fans and Neyo/Glee fans aren't exactly the same crowd. I mean I could see Berklee giving these two guys A's as a grade for their project, but this song has no chance at any of the Boston sports venues. At least that's my opinion. What's your's?

HA! they make it seem like it's NOT rainy and gray here 80% of the year, college kids from all over the country AREN'T constantly being rushed to mass general with alcohol poisoning, and the green line actually MOVES every now and then!

  2. I watched 30 seconds. That song sucks.
I agree with Three Toe, there should be more puking, violence, construction and waiting around. That's what Boston is really about.

  3. I left a negative comment on the video and they sent me this Happy go lucky reply:

    "Hello,

Thanks for checking out our song - sorry to hear you didn't like it. We wrote the song as an experiment, it's hard to represent all the amazing people and elements of Boston in a 3 minute song, but the goal was to create something that people could enjoy and feel good listening to - just a simple celebration song for Boston.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your Summer, we've been waiting a while for some sunshine!

    Take care,
    Eytan & Vincent

Honestly, have you ever met someone from Boston that was so gosh dang happy and forgiving?

I think its good, sounds polished and is catchy. I wouldn't bump in my ipod, but i could definitely hear this being played at a venue or in commercial for something Boston related. *shrugs*

It's a great song!! It definitely should get some airtime and have a place, maybe used on NESN or some sports talk show or even played at some ballgames. Doesn't have to be an anthem, just a feel good song that can be played along with all the other music played at different sporting events.
