Ray is always very well spoken. He's in a much different position than most of the players in this lockout though. Ray already has his 9 figures and he only has a short time left to play. Lower salaries in the future wouldn't affect him. I like that Ray wants players and owners not to haggle over money and get back to work. Too bad his Celtic owner doesn't feel the same.

Ray Allen is truly one of the greatest players ever, great mindset, great role model, good outlook and perspective and his skills speak for itself, i'm truly proud and grateful that he is a celtic and one day will become a boston celtic legend

P.S this lockout is fuckin ridiculous, "a wise man argues with a fool, and from a distance, no one can tell the difference between them..." is so appropriate to this scenario, this situation also proves the saying that only rich people don't know what to do with their money

The silliest thing about the lockout is that it just takes away from the fans, it takes away the time we all get to watch Ray, KG, Paul and of course all the other older guys around the league that mean so much and for many fans these players are still the faces of the NBA.
