Quantcast

18 years ago today my favorite player died.  On my birthday, no-less.  A cruel twist of fate.  If you never got to see Reggie Lewis play, it was truly a thing of beauty.  The stop-on-the-dime pull up jumper, on the baseline or in the lane.  That unbelievably quick first step.  The defense.  Check out FL's great article on Reggie here as well as Muggsy Bogues' thoughts in Slam.  RIP #35

    happy birthday man

  2. I miss Reggie. His death was so hard to take. And the media made it worse by innuendos about drug use etc. I highly recommend that every Celtics fan read Quiet Grace - It's an excellent book to show what a wonderful person that Reggie really was.

I agree FL 100%. And I've read that Quiet Grace book awhile ago.

With Lewis and Bias as the cornerstones, the early 90s Celtics DEFINITELY win a title or two...
