Looks like Shaq won't play tomorrow and possibly will miss the upcoming West Coast trip. Big old guys don't recover that fast I guess. Quis missed today's practice because for family reasons and is questionable for tomorrow's game. If he can't go expect a larger role for Wafer and more minutes for Nate (or Doc might just play Rondo, Ray, and Pierce 40 minutes each). Lastly, it sounds like Perkins when he gets back out there will be adding a lot from the get go. Seems like only doctor's orders are keeping him from playing in games right now.

There's no way Shaq misses the game at the Staples. National TV, Kobe and what could eventually be his last visit there (what if the Lakers don't reach the Finals this year? ;)

Shaq will be back for the weekend.

"He'll miss tomorrow -- unless something happens where it's a miracle," Rivers said of O'Neal. "And the flight to Portland is a difficult flight; it's seven hours or whatever. I personally think that would be a tough game (for O'Neal to play in). I think after that, he's pretty much available."

I hope Shaq makes it back in time for Celtics-Lakers. It's been fun watching him in all of the other big match ups so far this year.
