Celtics Training Camp Moved to Salve Regina

Scott Isaacs is reporting on Twitter that the Celtics earlier plan of staying home and having their training camp in Waltham has been changed.  Reports are that they will once again return to Salve Regina in Rhode Island, where they have held training camp for the past 2 years.

This comes in the aftermath of the Miami Heat's announcement that they are traveling to my neck of the woods to hold their training camp at Eglin Air Force Base.   I'm wondering if Danny changed plans because of continued pressure from Pierce or because he started thinking that he didn't want to get the blame for not moving camp if they didn't come out of the gates strong.

The Celtics are scheduled to have five days of practice at Salve Regina from Sept. 28 to Oct. 2.  Media Day is scheduled for Monday, 9/27 in Waltham.   Their first preseason game is scheduled for October 6 in Manchester
