“I watch Rondo. He’s a good basketball player. I definitely watch him. I’d definitely beat him one-on-one,” Johnson said. “He (Marquis Daniels) called me and told me what Rondo was saying. So I went on Twitter and said, that’s easy money,” Johnson said. “That’s cool if he wants to lose $200,000. I had to go public with it. He must be stupid. It won’t be no close race.” Titans teammates had Johnson winning the proposed race as well. “Rajon Rondo doesn’t want any piece of CJ. Matter of fact, if you can get the message to Rondo, we’ll match him bill for bill, whatever he wants to do. Our money is on CJ,” linebacker Keith Bulluck said. "I am faster than Rondo. He needs to start with me or someone on defense first."

Don't know enough about Chris Johnson to speculate who would win in a race, but I'm pretty sure Rondo's  teammates would match him "bill for bill" in a game of 1 on 1. Waiting for David Stern to get involved now over the gambling talk, while he turns a blind eye to all the crooked refs and league shenanigans thats Jose Canseco  Tim Donaghy has been exposing.

People are morons when it comes to basketball. Randy Moss thought he was an NBA level player because he was athletic and tall. He sucked in the summer league. How did Master P do in his attempt with the Hornets? That's right he sucked too.

I'm guessing Chris Johnson would suck donkey balls at basketball. Go play in the MTV game and shut the fuck up.

    JR check your email man.

  3. Johnson would beat Rondo in a race, he is freakishly fast, but obviously there is no way he would beat Rondo in one on one. Professional athletes have huge egos and they have to or they wouldn't be able to play on that level.

I thought he meant one-on-one in a sprint, not at basketball, though maybe I don't know what I'm talking about.

Whatever, Rondo better just be focused on tonight's game, which I think will be the toughest one for the Celtics on this road trip.

    (sorry about double post)

from the article: "Johnson also boasted that he could beat the Celtics guard one-on-one on the basketball court as well."
