I was today years old when I learned that Red Auerbach's brother designed the Celtics logo

Zang Auerbach, four years younger than Red, was the cartoonist at the Washington Times. They met every Tuesday for lunch at a Chinese restaurant. Eventually, others including Celtics legends, would join in.

Is there a possibilty that I had read about this before, maybe even on our own site? Yes. I do remember reading about Red's lunches as well as his tennis matches in one of his books back in the day. But for all intents and purposes I was today year's old when I learned that Red Auerbach's brother Zang was the creator of the Celtics original Lucky logo. Very cool stuff.
