Report: Kawhi Leonard wants out of the San Antonio Spurs

It's official, folks - Kawhi Leonard wants out, per Yahoo's Shams Charania.

Fire up your trade checkers, people - even with rumors swirling that Los Angeles is his destination of choice, you can be certain Danny Ainge and company will be doing their due diligence to land the All Star wing, widely regarded as one of the top five or ten players in the league when fully healthy.

Leonard, who has two seasons remaining on his current contract with a player option kicking in after next season, has placed the San Antonio Spurs in an unenviable position - and a surprising one, as disgruntled players like LaMarcus Aldridge have been convinced to return to the fold in recent years - giving San Antonio little leverage to negotiate.

Of course, nearly every other team in the league is likely to offer up a package, and many may be able to beat what the Celtics would be willing to part with, if not what they could offer, if disposed to.

What do you think? Should Boston make an offer? If so, what should be in it? Let us know in the comment section below.
