Cavs already shopping Brooklyn pick

Less than a week after the Cleveland Cavaliers acquired the rights to the Brooklyn Nets unprotected 2018 first-round pick in the Kyrie Irving - Isaiah Thomas blockbuster, rookie GM Koby Altman is already testing the market for the coveted asset. Per Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com, the Cavs are taking offers.

While many thought Cleveland's plan for the Brooklyn pick was to give themselves a future in the event of a LeBron James re-decision, it makes sense for the team to attempt to acquire another star if their intention is to go all-out in their effort to keep James around or take another shot at defeating the Golden State juggernaut. It would appear that despite their recent dramatic break-up with their superstar point guard, the Cavs do have options to explore.

Let the chaos continue.
