Andrew Bogut signs with Los Angeles Lakers

The pickings for the Boston Celtics' 15th and final roster spot just got a little slimmer.

Andrew Bogut, a player often speculated as an option for that roster slot, has signed a one-year, $2.3 million-dollar deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. Most recently known as the guy who was dealt a season-ending fracture just one minute into his most brief of stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the former top pick of the 2005 NBA Draft still likely has enough in the tank to make it less likely the Lakers' pick will fall in the unprotected two-to-five range that will convey it to Boston in next year's NBA Draft.

Whatever you think of Bogut, it's probably not a good idea to tell him to "break a leg", even if he is a Laker now.
