Jordan Mickey not joining Celtics' Summer League team
A familiar face will be absent from this year's Boston Celtics Summer League team, and maybe the coming regular-season roster, too.
Jordan Mickey has opted to skip participation in the 2017 NBA Summer League for the Celts, instead opting to spend the time training on his own. Mickey, who is very likely to be cut should any larger signing occur due to the non-guaranteed status of his contract, likely wishes to prepare himself for a post-Celtics life should the likely cut occur. The team has been supportive of his decision, so we may be witnessing the end of the Jordan era in Boston.
The Jordan Mickey era, that is.
