James Young makes the summer league roster... for the New Orleans Pelicans

Free agent James Young is on the move:

Young played three largely inconsequential years for the C's. He bounced back and forth between the active roster and down to the Maine Red Claws, where he dominated night in and night out. For some reason, the pressure of an NBA game seemed to paralyze him, though, and he never lived up to the potential the Celtics kept insisting he had.

The 21-year-old secured the final roster spot last season, beating out R.J. Hunter, who was going into the second year of his rookie deal.

Young will now aim to find his way onto the training camp roster for the Pels or whatever team will take him probably.
