Ainge compares Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, who already has a nickname for the C's duo

After it was announced Friday afternoon at his introductory press conference with the Boston Celtics that Jayson Tatum would wear #11 with his new team, Jaylen Brown was quick to anoint the new duo with a nickname of sorts:

And Tatum was quick to seal it with his approval:

Of course Celtics fans were quick to enter the discussion with their own takes on the tandem:

I really like that last one. In a perfect Celtics' world Brown and Tatum could very well be he number 1 and 2 options on offense for the C's a few years down the line and beyond. We'll get to see them together for the first time this Saturday, July 1st, as the Celtics will kick off the Las Vegas summer league and the two young forwards are set to share the floor. Coinciding with the start of free-agency, this weekend is sure to be pretty wild for the Celtics and their fans with rumors swirling about a couple of potential big additions via free-agency and trade, but I'm just as excited that we get a look at our newest offseason prize in Tatum so soon after the draft.

Danny Ainge spoke Friday about the pairing of Jayson and Jaylen, and where how the two can compliment each other with their different games:

Regardless of what the Celtics roster looks like next season I fully expect the Tatum will be brought along slowly the same way Brown was in his rookie campaign. He'll have to earn his minutes through hard work and dedication to learning coach Brad Stevens' system on both end of the floor before becoming a major contributor.
