Video: First Take discusses the Celtics as a legitimate threat to the Cavs in the playoffs
Well look who ESPN is finally giving some credit to? Stephen A. Smith predicts that the Celtics would take the Cavs to 7 games in a potential conference championship series. Both he and Max Kellerman lament Kevin Durant not choosing Boston in free agency instead of the Warriors. It's been mentioned often and it's a valid point that while Isaiah Thomas is a superstar on offense, he gives up a ton on defense. What I'd like to see from Isaiah is for him to add another chip on his shoulder and dedicate himself to squashing the defensive liability label in the playoffs. I don't mind him saving some energy during the regular season, but come playoff time we need it on both ends of the floor.
