Thomas gets 38, Crowder adds 18 and Brown shows some potential in a historic win (videos)

Isaiah Thomas made sure that Brad Stevens will be heading to the New Orleans as the Boston Celtics beat Los Angeles Lakers and have now most wins in NBA history. Thomas scored 38 points on the night, including 17 coming in the fourth as usual. He was just two points shy of becoming the first Celtic player ever to get 40+ points in three straight games. Still, he got to score 10 or more points in the 100th game in a row!

Jae Crowder finished the night with 18 points, six rebounds and two steals for the Celtics, being the second best scorer on the team. It's great to see Jae keeping this high level of play and being solid offensive weapon for the Boston with Avery Bradley out.

Jaylen Brown continues to show some nice potential as he got 12 points and seven boards in another start. He lost a battle with Brandon Ingram (#2 pick of the 2016 NBA Draft) who scored 14 on the night but it was Brown's team that got the win.

Al Horford started the game strong but then cooled off and finished the night with 11 points on 4/11 shooting. Celtics big man added eight rebounds and eight assists to his statline and was a very close to a triple-double. Still, we are hoping for much better play!
