Jae Crowder's home town gave him the key to the city

Our very own Jae Crowder received the key to the city in his home town of Villa Rica, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta: Via Ricky Stilley of the Times-Georgian.com:

Villa Rica native and Boston Celtics star Jae Crowder waves to the crowd while holding the key to the city following its presentation to him Thursday evening by interim Mayor Shirley Marchman, right. Crowder appeared at The Mill Amphitheater for the second annual Back to School Bash, when he donated school supplies for children in the community. Marchman also proclaimed July 28 as “Jae Crowder Day.”

Good to see Crowder getting some love from his home town. He's become one of the most beloved athletes in the city of Boston as of late and is arguably the heart and soul of the team. Whether it's his tenacious defense, ability to be in the right place at the right time, or his clutch three point shooting, Crowder delivers in all areas. Good to see him go home and give back to the community and to get recognized for his accomplishments.

P.S. NBA Season, can you please hurry up and get here sooner rather than later? Thanks.
