Video: Celtics rookies Jordan Mickey and Terry Rozier fill the stat sheet in D-League action

Jordan Mickey's success in the D-League has been causing a bit of a buzz. After being named the player of the month, Boston Celtics coach Brad Stevens started to take notice and become intrigued about what he could do in the NBA, saying that "he's closer to ready than ever before because of his continued work."

Mickey continued the trend on Thursday in the Maine Red Claws' D-League showcase game against Bakersfield Jam, earning a double-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds, plus 4 blocks (including the block pictured in the gif above, where he changes his blocking hand in mid air. Celtics rookie Terry Rozier also had himself quite a game, leading the Red Claws in scoring with 23 points to go along with 9 rebounds and 5 assists.

Highlights for both players can be found in the video below. Be sure to watch the Rozier alley-oop to Mickey at about 1:30 into the video, as it could be something we see on a more regular basis for the Celtics in the future.

The D-League posted a slightly longer highlight video on Twitter, where the Rozier connects with Mickey on multiple occasions (and it also includes a Jordan Mickey steal).
