Celtics back up to No. 7 in ESPN power rankings

No. 7, Jared Sullinger.
In the midst of a season-high four-game winning streak, the 18-13 Celtics have risen to No. 7 in Marc Stein's NBA power rankings for ESPN.com.  After reaching the No. 6 spot two weeks ago, a three-game losing streak dropped Boston back to No. 10 last week.

Only No. 4 Cleveland, No. 5 Toronto and No. 6 Atlanta are rated higher than the C's in the Eastern Conference.  Immediately following the the 18-13 Celtics are Miami, Indiana and Charlotte in the 7-10 positions.

After landing the top three teams (Golden State, San Antonio and Oklahoma City), the West doesn't have another club in the top 10--Dallas checks in at No. 11.

With only a pair of home games against the Lakers and Nets on Boston's schedule this week, the Celtics are primed to climb even higher in Stein's rankings next Monday.
