The Boston Celtics kept their momentum going from a successful road trip in their first game back at the TD Garden on Wednesday night, defeating the Chicago Bulls 105-100. Every Celtics player to check into the game scored in double digits, with the exception of James Young (0 points in 16 minutes) and Jonas Jerebko (but he only played 36 seconds).
After a cold first half scoring 0 points, Isaiah Thomas caught fire in the second half, and ended up leading the C's in scoring with 20 points. Jared Sullinger was once again a beast on the boards, grabbing 16 rebounds (as well as blocking 3 shots), and Jae Crowder notched 3 of Boston's 10 steals.
One of the top highlights from the game was Evan Turner's 360 dunk, to which he attributed to playing on ESPN in his post-game interview:
Evan Turner said dunk was inspired by national TV appearance on ESPN. "We got highlights here. Turner Vinsanity, you know what I’m saying?"— Chris Forsberg (@ESPNForsberg) December 10, 2015
Overall, it was a solid performance from the Celtics heading into Friday's game against the undefeated Golden State Warriors. Game highlights above (courtesy of Ximo Pierto 2 on YouTube), box score below.
