Around the NBA 11/5: Things Celtics fans should know from last night

In addition to the Celtics and Pacers, there were 18 NBA teams in action.  Here are 7 things you should know:

2016 DRAFT PICK WATCH

1. Brooklyn moved to an NBA worst 0-5 after losing to the Hawks 101-87.   The Celtics own the Nets 2016 first-round draft pick.

ATLANTIC DIVISION STANDINGS WATCH

2. If the Raptors are the King of the Atlantic, the Celtics have a LONG way to go before dethroning them.   In what may be the win of the year for an Eastern Conference team, Toronto used a 13-point win in the 4th quarter to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder on the road 103-98.   The Raptors are 5-0.

3. The Knicks lost to the Cavaliers 96-86. New York is 2-3.

4. As referenced above, Brooklyn fell to 0-5.

5. The 76ers kept pace with the Nets last night by losing to the Milwaukee Bucks 91-87. Philadelphia is now 0-4.

FORMER CELTIC WATCH

6. Paul Pierce and the Clippers took their first loss last night as they fell to the Warriors by four. Pierce finished with 4 points on 4 free throws, was a team worst minus-18, and lost crunch time minutes to Austin Rivers and Lance Stephenson.

7. Rajon Rondo and the Kings moved to 1-4 following a loss in Phoenix last night. Rondo went 4-10 from the field, and finished with 9 points, 6 assists and 3 rebounds.
