A picture a day to keep the summer doldrums away- 8/14/15

Everyone knows all about the Celtics' legends who came through in big playoff games over the years.  Pierce, Bird, Havlicek, Jones and Russell all resonate with everyone.  And while that is Bill Russell front and center after winning Game 7 of the 1969 Finals, it's the guy next to him, Em Bryant, who has somehow been forgotten over the years.

Em scored 20 points in the Celtics win that night in Los Angeles and played the entire 4th quarter.  He was instrumental in getting the Celtics over the top and preventing the balloons in the Forum from being let out.
