Cup of Joe. Someone might seriously want to think about boxing out Tristan Thompson

On Wednesday, I broke down how much each of Tristan Thompson's offensive rebounds were able to effect the outcome of game 2. The Skinny: 5 offensive rebounds led to 11 points, and on multiple occasions allowed the Cavaliers to take an additional 24 seconds off the game clock.

You'd think a change in attitude would be inevitable - Surely, if it was noticeable to every fan who watched the game, the players themselves would take note and make an adjustment, right? Clearly wrong. Thompson was once again able to secure 5 rebounds, which led to at least 7 points, including two game clinching rebounds with less than two and a half minutes to go (One with 2:20 left while down 3, the other coming with 50 seconds left while down 5).

The unfortunate part of it all is that it's often coming down to effort; A lot of the rebounds aren't coming through lucky bounces, or Thompson's man leaving him on help defense. It's happening because he wants the ball more.

The good news is that after two straight games plenty of Celtics publicly are talking about the need for a change including Jae Crowder and Evan Turner. The best quote, coming from 'The King of Charisma' Avery Bradley:

Tristan is an energy guy. He's been playing like that since I've known him. He brings - fans might not see it - but he's the reason why they beat us the last two games, honestly to me. He's just outworking us. We know what he's going to do, and we're still not stopping him from it. It's frustrating for everyone

Vintage WTHHT: What the Hell Happened to... Rex Morgan?
Authored by TB727

Long before Rex Chapman knocked in deep 3s for the Hornets and Suns, this week's featured WTHHT player knocked down deep jumpers for the Celtics. No, I doubt you remember Rex Morgan.

After a standout college career at Jacksonville University (making him the second WTHHT player from JU after the A-Train, but not the last, as long as Dee Brown's still out there), Rex was picked in the second round of the 1970 draft, the overall 21st pick, which as you know thanks to David Stern and overexpansion, would be around the middle of the first round in this year's draft.
