Rajon Rondo to return tomorrow, says he and Amare Stoudemire have wanted to play together for years

The shared desire of Rajon Rondo and Amare Stoudemire to play together is coming to fruition.
After being bought out by the New York Knicks, it Amare Stoudemire is set to join Dallas. According to a report from InsideHoops, Rondo and Amare have wanted to play together for some time now:

“Stoudemire and I have always talked throughout the years of playing against each other," Rondo said. “We wanted to become teammates, and hopefully it will come true soon."

“But him as a player, I think he’s still a dominant big in our game. He’s very powerful, he can finish at the rim."

The Mavericks have been made significant roster moves for the 2014-2015 season, adding Chandler Parsons, Rajon Rondo, and now Amare Stoudemire. Some reports indicate that Dallas may also be kicking the tires on Larry Sanders.

ESPN reports that Rondo will also be returning tomorrow from a rather gruesome injury in which teammate Richard Jefferson kneed him in the face.
