Rajon Rondo says he could be back by opening night

In a CSNNE interview with Mike Gorman, the Celtics captain said:

Hopefully I won't miss any games this year. Lord willing I'll heal correctly and I'll be back in no time.
They're telling me 6-8 [weeks], but that means nothing to me. Only time will tell.

When Gorman asked if it was still a possibility he might play opening night, Rondo replied "Always."

The point guard went on to say "I'm sure they're going to be very cautious, and Danny [Ainge] already said it."  In reality this statement from Rondo is probably a lot more meaningful than the quote above.  Similar to last season, the Celtics aren't going to be in any rush to get him back.  Opening night is exactly four weeks from today.  Good luck Rajon.
