LeBron: Cavs are "Kyrie's show" and Irving's their "floor general"

LeBron James went on record saying that it will be Kyrie Irving commanding the Cavaliers on the floor this season. This according to Dave McMenamin at ESPN:
“I’ll probably handle the ball a little bit, but this is Kyrie [Irving's] show,” James said Saturday following the team’s first practice of training camp. “He’s our point guard. He’s our floor general, and we need him to put us in position to succeed offensively. He has to demand that and command that from us with him handling the ball.”

This is a smart tactical move by James because it allows Irving to run the team and not think he's competing with LeBron for attention on the floor. Irving, also is in many respects a brilliant ISO guard and this challenges him to be more of a leader and to expand his game as a distributor.

Kyrie's coming into the season on an extremely positive note in the afterglow of being named the MVP of USA's gold medal team at this summer's world cup.
