Tidbits from Kelly Olynyk's European tour with Team Canada

As we've mentioned before, Kelly Olynyk is currently playing for the Canadian National Team in a series of exhibition games in Europe (Canada did not qualify for this summer's FIBA World Cup).  Besides getting his foot stuck in a billboard, here's what else has been going on:

Most recently Olynyk and his fellow Canadians fell to Spain and the Gasol brothers, 82-70 on Wednesday.  Via Jay King of Mass Live (who is without a doubt the best source for Celtics news this summer), here are some of Olynyk's numbers so far:

July 24 vs. Slovenia: 10 points
July 25 vs. Croatia: 18 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 25 minutes, 6-12 FG, 2-3 3PT
July 26 vs. Georgia: 12 points, 6 rebounds, 20 minutes, 6-10 FG
Aug. 1 vs. Croatia: 0 points, 5 rebounds, 14 minutes, 0-5 FG
Aug. 2 vs. Croatia: DNP-rest (note: several top players were given the day off)
Aug. 3 vs. Italy: 13 points, 4 rebounds, 21 minutes, 5-13 FG
Aug. 4 vs. Serbia: 11 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 6 turnovers, 22 minutes, 5-11 FG
Aug. 5 vs. Bosnia: 15 points, 6 rebounds, 21 minutes, 7-11 FG, 0-2 3PT
Aug. 6 vs. Spain: 8 points, 8 rebounds, 17 minutes, 4-10 FG

Before heading home from Spain Team Canada will also play Turkey on Aug. 10, and Angola on Aug. 12.
