Photo: A closer look at the gold championship tabs on next season's Celtics jerseys


Several weeks ago, designs were released that showed new Celtics jerseys for away games next season, and slightly visible on the back were the new gold championship tabs that the NBA has adopted. The gold tabs only appear on the uniforms of teams who have won an NBA title, and depict the number of championships won by the franchise next to the Larry O'Brien trophy.

UniWatch on Twitter has posted an image with a closer look at the backs of the LA Lakers' and Boston Celtics' jerseys next year, which commemorate the 16 and 17 titles that each franchise has won, respectively.
