NCAA champion Shabazz Napier would love to dress in Celtic green

NCAA Champion and tournament most valuable player, UConn's Shabazz Napier, is from Roxbury and would be absolutely honored to play for the Celtics.

Napier distinguished himself as the best point guard in college basketball distancing himself from Oklahoma State's Marcus Smart and Arizona State's Jahii Carson early in the season with his clutch play.

He also outshone Syracuse's freshman Tyler Ennis, late, again with his clutch play and performance in the tournament.

As great as Napier was this season, however, I don't see him ending up with the Celtics.

I would project him as a late first round pick and the Celtics second pick in the first round occurs at number 17.

Not to mention, Boston has bigger needs right now than a backup point guard.
