Kevin Garnett moves into 14th on all-time scoring list, passes Alex English

You can check off another hallmark moment in what has been a stellar career for former Celtic Kevin Garnett.

The 2003-04 league MVP recently passed Alex English to move into 14th on the all-time scoring list.

To recap, the Big Ticket is now 5th in minutes played, 10th in rebounds, 14th in points, 16th in steals, 18th in blocks, and 49th in assists all-time. Quite the 18 years Garnett has had in the NBA.

He is and will forever be my favorite player no matter what jersey he wears. It's insane to think of all the things he did on the court, not to mention his intensity and leadership. While Father Time has certainly caught up to Garnett over the past couple of seasons, the league will be a much poorer place once he decides to hang up the high tops. He is a once in a lifetime talent.

Interestingly enough, English once donned a Celtic uniform in a preseason game back in the 1980s for a movie he was making. English was playing for Nuggets at the time.

I don't know which is crazier, everything Garnett has accomplished or that someone was allowed to play for another team for one game to make a film.
