Butler giving honorary degree to mad professor Brad Stevens

According to Boston.com Butler University will be giving Celtic coach Brad Stevens an honorary doctorate degree:
Butler President James Danko says it will be a chance to thank Stevens for his coaching work and continued close ties with the university.

One has to wonder if this decision was made in response to the below average season the Bulldogs had without Stevens at the helm.

Butler finished 14-17 and 4-14 in Big East league play.

In six seasons at Butler Stevens only lost a total of 22 conference games. An average of less than four per season so the Bulldogs results after he left definitely makes him look like the mad professor.

Although, Butler did move to the Big East this season a tougher conference than Stevens ever coached in during his tenure.
