Arizona freshman Aaron Gordon said to be declaring for the draft this week

Marc J. Spears also reported this story two weeks ago (so I'm not going to write the same stuff all over again), but I guess at the time he didn't know exactly when Gordon was going to declare.

At 25-55 the Celtics are currently tied with the Lakers for the 5th worst record in the league.  With two games left, chances are Boston will finish 5th, tied for 5th, or 6th from the bottom in standings.  The way the lottery math works, from any of those three scenarios the #6 pick is the single most likely possibility for the C's (when a tie occurs the two clubs split the odds between each position).

Gordon, Okahoma State's Marcus Smart, and Indiana's Noah Vonleh are the three leading candidates for that choice.
