Phil Jackson is going back to the Knicks
All signs are pointing to Phil Jackson going back to work in the NBA- this time as part of the New York Knicks organization.
League source: All indications are that Phil Jackson will accept NYK front-office job. Title not yet clear, but not coach or mere consultant

Jackson spent some of his NBA career playing for the Knicks and was a key reserve during their 1973 title run.
There is no clear title for Jackson yet, but just getting him involved is a step in the right direction. Along with names like Pat Riley and Larry Bird, if Phil Jackson is running the front office, that is a team you consider. Maybe Melo isn't on his way out of New York after all.
