Rajon Rondo apparently is a real big fan of frigid temperatures? Wants to spend next 10 years in Boston

This one time, Rondo wrote a blog post about winter hats. That's how much he loves those low temps.

Welcome to Boston, where's it's really fudging cold.

That's right, fudging cold. Yesterday it was like 10 degrees out.

Just the way Celtics star point guard Rajon Rondo likes it. I guess.

Most NBA players shudder (pun?) at the thought of signing in Boston. The city where it's cold throughout most of the season, where there's not really that awesome of a nightlife and for other reasons that are probably a whole other post.

Anyway, for whatever reason that doesn't bother Rajon Rondo. No sir. He wants to stick around for another 10 years.

Via Baxter Holmes, Boston.com:

“I like to stick to the script,” Rondo said before the Celtics played the Oklahoma City Thunder Friday night at TD Garden. “I don’t like change much. I wouldn’t mind staying here the rest of my career.

"Things don’t always seem to go that way, but like I said before, it’s just a business. I wouldn't mind extending another 10 years in Boston.”

Dude loves the cold, right?

Isn't that the only reason he'd want to, at this moment, think of signing an extension for 10 years?

Right now the team is kind of in limbo. They're the fifth worst team in the league at a cool 15-30, so that's going to plan. Still, the lottery is no guarantee of a championship. I doubt Rondo is thinking, "Oh, man I bet we can get like a top three pick this year and then it'll definitely be worth sticking around. So pysched you guys!"

It seems like now would really be the perfect time to think of bailing, don't you think?

Using the 'ole sinking ship analogy, this ship is definitely a bit fucked. You don't know if it's going to sink or stay afloat, you know? In that situation I'm the first one off the boat, not the guy saying, "Hey I bet we can stick around on this thing for another 10 years guys, let's just chance it. Fuck it, right?"

So in conclusion, the only logical reason the idiot writing this post can think of for Rondo to want to stay is that Rondo loves the cold. Happy Saturday!
