Celtics battle the Knicks to a 90-86 win

The Boston Celtics beat the New York Knicks at the TD Garden tonight, 90 to 86. The Knicks came to play tonight, at least more so than Sunday. It appeared as if the C’s had this one on lock as they pulled off a 12-2 run in the second quarter and led at halftime. But the 3rd quarter Kryptonite reared its ugly head letting New York back in the game. The Knicks built a nice lead, but hot shooting got the C's back in it as they pulled off another run, this time 13-2. A miraculous Jeff Green and-one bucket down the stretch sealed the win.
"Courtney Lee... So hot right now."

Jared Sullinger had a phenomenal game for the C’s scoring 19 points and grabbing 6 rebounds. Courtney Lee came off the bench on fire nailing threes, finishing with 18 points on 6 of 8 shooting. The leading scorer for New York was Carmelo Anthony with 26. Melo cooled off shooting 2-11 in the second half. Andrea Bargnani also played well chipping in 22 points, and J.R. Smith helped his team out by only shooting 1 time.

Next up for the Celtics are the Timberwolves on Monday night, 7:30 PM EST at the Garden.
