Here Comes Super Bass

The C's 107-96 win last night over the Wizards may have been credited in part to the return of KG and Truth but don't discount the effort submitted by Brandon Bass.  The usually quiet Bass turned in a very audible 20 points (on a remarkable 9-of-12 shooting clip), 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block in helping Boston take its 40th victory of the season.  Just in time too for the playoffs.

"He seems to always be in the right spots, available," Truth said of Bass. "That's going to be huge for us if he continues to play well going into the playoffs, and the great thing about it is he's doing it all off of the hustle plays."

Bass' performance last night was punctuated by this exclamation slam with about 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.  He received the rock just above the three-point arc but instead of dribbling in a couple of feet and settling for a pull-up jumper, Bass took it strong to the hoop and finished with the phenomenal dunk!  When Brandon's playing this loud and proud, call him, Super Bass.
