Celtics end 81-game season with a loss at Toronto: 90-114

Well, the Celtics didn't try to win this quite meaningless game which affects neither the seedings nor the winning record, and they got what they wanted. Garnett and Terry did not play, Pierce showed up for 14 minutes, and no starter except for Bradley played for more than 20.

Jordan Crawford was the "star" of this game as he dropped 16 points, pulled 6 rebounds and dished out 5 assists. He topped that performance with a wild buzzer beater, so I guess that was entertaining. We got to see quite a bit of Terrence Williams (12 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists) and DJ White (8 points, 3 rebounds). Fab Melo, if you've missed him, was his usual self.

One implication of this game is that I think we'll see a 9, maybe 10-men Playoff rotation as Doc seems torn between playing Wilcox/Randolph, and I think Terrence Williams' size will be a fallback plan at some point against the Knicks.

But yeah, a regular season that had its ups and downs (well, mostly downs) is over. We go into the Playoffs as the underdogs, and the reinforced Knicks with Quentin Richardson and Earl Barron await us. It's going to be a great series, that I'm sure of.

LET'S-GO-BOS-TON! *clap clap clap-clap-clap*
