Brooklyn Nets sign Celtics draft pick Kris Joseph to a 10 day contract

According to Comcast Sports Net's Jessica Camerato, former Celtic Kris Joseph just signed a 10 day contract with the Brooklyn Nets:

Joseph was selected by the Celtics in the seconds round of the 2012 NBA draft as the 51st overall pick, and was released by Boston on January 6, 2013. Many Celtics fans had high hopes for Joseph after he played well during the 2012 Summer League. Joseph was also a teammate of Fab Melo at Syracuse.

After being waived by the Celtics, Joseph has been playing in the D-League for both the Springfield Armor and the Maine Red Claws. From NBA.com:

Joseph (6-7/215) becomes Brooklyn's second NBA D-League Call-Up of the season, joining the Nets from the Springfield Armor. In 27 combined games for Springfield and Maine this season, Joseph averaged 18.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.7 steals in 34.0 minutes per game. Acquired from Maine on February 11, 2013, Joseph has started 15 games for the Armor, averaging 19.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.7 steals in 34.1 minutes per game.

Good luck to KJ with the Nets! But I also hope he doesn't make the Celtics regret that they waived him.
