Celtics will lock up DJ White for remainder of the year

According to Jessica Camerato of CSNNE.com the Boston Celtics will lock up D.J. White for the rest of the 2012-2013 season. After playing out two 10-day contracts, the C's have given him stability for the rest of the year. This gives them another big man on the roster, pretty much a ‘break in glass in case of emergency’ guy. He’s only played in four games, averaging 2.8 points and 1.5 rebounds in seven minutes per. I wouldn’t expect much from him the rest of the season, I doubt he’ll get significant minutes until Doc starts resting guys. Green 18 here we come!
