Miami Heat likely landing spot for Jarvis Varnado

The Miami Heat will likely sign shot-blocking forward Jarvis Varnado to a 10-day contract, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.The Heat originally drafted Varnado. Pity that the NCAA record setting shot blocker didn't get a longer look in Boston.
As long as Varnado clears league waivers on Tuesday afternoon, he will be eligible to a sign a 10-day contract with Miami. The Boston Celtics waived Varnado on Sunday.
Varnado had played sparsely in five games for the Celtics after a call up from Sioux Falls of the Development League.
