It may be too much to call
Jeff Green's dunk over Al Jefferson the "Dunk Heard 'Round the World", but the way Celtics fans have been pining for a Green breakout this season it may as well have been. Taking a KG kickout with a little over seven minutes left in the game, Green faked out Paul Millsap in the corner then drove hard into the lane where he laid the monster finish over Big Al. Wham, bam, posterized man! The Green Mean then landed with a stare down at Jefferson that merited a technical foul - much to the approval of Celtics Nation.
The dunk was two of Green's 16 points for the game. He also collected 4 rebounds and dished out 2 assists in the win. While those figures aren't quite the breakout numbers we had in mind, the huge slam and stare down delivered in the
'asshole' streak KG was requesting of Green. Here's to more of
