Could Avery Bradley be out until midseason?

This came out of left field when I was reading Kelly Dwyer's column this morning, which pretty much rips Danny Ainge for spending $36 million on Jeff Green.
And Jeff Green, fully vetted as a wing apparently, will be relied upon due to the potential half-year absence of Avery Bradley, who will be out until midseason while he recovers from significant shoulder woes.

Bradley is having his second shoulder operation today, but the reports that I've heard are that he'll be back by mid December. Now I know that the Celtics aren't always "accurate" with their estimated injury timetables (That was me being kind), but I'm hoping that Dwyer simply made a mistake here with the midseason talk.

If Bradley's injury will keep him out longer, then we can understand why Danny has been working so hard to pick up another shooting guard even after the Terry signing. It's important not to rush Bradley back, as we don't want these shoulder injuries to become a chronic career nuisance.
