Fake Stephen A. Smith account causes commotion about KG retirement
Last night, a fake Stephen A Smith Twitter account (@stephenasmifh, not @stephenasmith) posted that Kevin Garnett would be announcing his retirement today at 1 PM on ESPN:
The tweet was believed by many, and even had NBA players like James Harden, Daniel "Booby" Gibson, and Jarret Jack talking about it.
I hope most Celtics fans checked their sources before believing this, but if not, Kevin Garnett will NOT be announcing his retirement today and even Doc Rivers is optimistic that Kevin will play a couple more years.
Sad day for the NBA, as the great Kevin Garnett has decided to retire. Press conference scheduled for 1 pm EST tomorrow on ESPN.
