Austin Rivers selected by Hornets, no father-son duo in Boston

Rivers was selected 10th overall by the New Orleans Hornets, crushing the hopes of a father-son duo in Boston. The Celtics were reportedly trying to trade up to select Rivers but they were pessimistic about their chances of accomplishing it.

The Hornets just got a lot better after this draft, with Anthony Davis and Austin Rivers.
