Rondo's agent talks trade rumors

Who'd want to trade for this nerd anyway?
CSNNE:
"The biggest thing players want is clarity," [Bill] Duffy said. "Like, 'if you're going to trade me, tell me.' Players don't like to feel they're being manipulated or behind-the-scenes not really knowing what's going on. That comes down to respect, more than anything else."

Ainge recently denied rumors that he was shopping Rondo, specifically in an effort to land Chris Paul in Boston.

Obviously the word of the rumors must have found their way to Rondo and it's hard to imagine him being content with them.

"Rondo knows that we love him," said Ainge yesterday. "Trade rumors are part of the world we live in. Everybody's been in trade rumors and everybody will. If you're worth your salt you'll be mentioned in a trade somewhere down the line."

Due to the lockout, players and front office officials still can't speak directly, so Ainge has not been able to tell Rondo this himself, A.Sherrod Blakely writes in the article.

Blakely quotes Duffy saying, "Rajon is here, he wants to be here and from what I can gather, they want him here,".
