Boston among seven teams on Big Baby's list

According to a story by Mark Murphy of the Boston Herald this morning, Big Baby is already prepped for December 9th. Which is, of course, when free agency is scheduled to begin. Fans shouldn't be surprised if he's no longer a Celtic after that date either. Murphy cites sources that list New Jersey, Orlando, Denver, Atlanta, Detroit and New Orleans as places Baby's camp is targeting other than Boston.

“I’m ready,” said Davis, the former and possibly future Celtics [team stats] forward who is an unrestricted free agent. “I’ll be sitting out there with a pen and pad and two phones up to my ears. ASAP.”

Davis hasn't committed to wanting to stay in Boston. Back in June, Davis gave a vague response when asked whether he could stay with the Celtics, "[Long pause] I can be Glen Davis wherever. It depends on the system, the people around the system, who is going to let Glen Davis be Glen Davis, not let Glen Davis be something they think he should be."

After the Celtics' loss to the Miami Heat last year, Davis hinted that he wanted a larger role. Big Baby could be wearing different colors come December.
