It's that time ladies and gentlemen, the NBA draft. Where we're sure to be graced by Jay Bilas. Figured we oughta get an idea on the consensus out there of how many times Bilas will say "wingspan" during the draft. There's 60 players actually selected, and there will be more players discussed.
I'm thinking he's going to get between 38-44 wingspan references out there, and I'm going to lean on the over and go with 40-49. I was tempted to goto the 50+ range but I have a feeling he'll peter out in the second round, like he did last year.
Last year in the first round alone he came close to hitting 30, so going higher might be wise. And keep an eye in the shoutbox to the right for the new wingspan smiley (posted right above)!! Anyone tuned into Celticslife, when Bilas says it, you post it!

This poll should have more options. I'd wager 50-60, 60-70, and 70+ are better options than 0-19 or 20-29. He'll have 40 by the end of the first round.

Funny that you do a post on him. I was watching the 2003 Draft today and he made a comment, "Luke Ridenour couldn't guard his chair"... lol, didn't make a lot of friends with that, got a few boo's from the crowd.

0-19? There's a better chance of David Stern slipping on his way to the podium than Jay Bilas NOT saying wingspan!

Everyone knows that length of Wingspan has a direct correlation of the Tremendous Upside a player has.
Damn kibitzer must have a high tolerance. Hard liquor? Most people would be drunk by the 6th pick. Everyone would be dead by the 2nd round. When was the last time you took 25 shots of hard liquor? lol

@JR, now that you mention it, I'd probably be dead before the end of the 1st round..LOL.. 25 shots? two years ago, so no, I won't really attempt it myself.
REALLY disappointed in Bilas' performance last night. He was aware of the all the buzz around every word he said so he purposefully made sure not to mention any of them. He instead started making up words like "rangey." Wth does that even mean?
Keep an eye out for a video of him at the 2010 draft highlighting his description of players that I'm working on. Should have it up in the next few days.
