Ok, so they say ever since this guy (obviously not Howard) was shipped way out west we've never been the same team.

"Bullsheat! Arriba Lakers!" - That's one of the messages I received earlier today from a Lakers fan. Depending on how you pronounce the first word, those were the two teams we "danced awkwardly" with the previous days. Not enough to qualify for a blockbuster in Hollywood.

Of course LA looks to be having their own share of woes and worries as well, but let them deal with their side of the fence.

While it's true the Celtics flipped the switch last season when the playoffs arrived, from their body language the past couple of games, one can't help but feel anxious and a little ... bit ... afraid.

If last postseason (Miami, Cleveland, Orlando then Los Angeles) didn't look like a bridge in hell that they just crossed, imagine our veteran squad going through the postseason facing New York, Miami, Chicago, then the Western Conference Champion. If it's still the Lakers, do you think our "well-rested" O'Neals still got gas?

At this point, I wouldn't call myself an optimist or a pessimist. One minute I'm thinking it's just a game. The next one I'm worried we may never even make it the first round. Maybe I'm somewhere between a realist and Danny Ainge.

But I've already reached the end of my day, so I'm still going to believe. Here's to hoping our team gets their belief back and regains that Celtic swagger in a hurry.

In the meantime, about this guy again. Someone once told me the past is still present in the form of memories. You can relive his journey along with the rest of the 2009-2010 Boston Celtics by grabbing a copy of the eBook - Everything But Belief. What's it about? Just in case you missed it, here's the book preview and excerpt. You can also get a free chapter in its Facebook Page.

It's official launch is this Wednesday, April 13, 7PM ET. One hour before the last regular season game of the Celtics (vs the Knicks).

Another heads up, visit EBB's Facebook Page 12 hours before the Celtics and Knicks tip-off for a chance to win a copy of the eBook for free.

Miss you big guy. Have a great postseason.

Yea, Perkins is signed to an extension in OKC for the next 4 years.

Most of our fans are overrating Perkins. Thank God we have Danny calling the shots, cause fans overact to every loss and slump. If this team makes to the final, same as after last year slump, it really has nothing to do with the trade, but how much our players are focused and with changing some of our strategies; we are very predictable when Rondo and Pierce are not attacking the paint; when KG shoots outside shots 99% of the time; whn G Davis only focus on his offense. This is the real problem right now, and it's up to the team to figure it out. I saw no complaints when we one i believe 8/10 games after the trade. So give me a break!

This used to be a great blog, but I get sick of this boohooing about Kendrick Perkins. It makes me wonder if this blog is being written by Rondo.

  7. Rajon Rondo says:

Promise to make it big come playoffs. Billups and NYK ain't got nothing on me!
